HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Woohoo, it’s 2023, which means new resolutions and new everything. Like Ms. Evans once said, “it’s out with the old, in with the new”. Yes! If you were born in the year … 2023, 2011, 1999, 1987, … hippity hop into the new year as it is your time to shine~

For sure, it is also a new experience for our dear Chinese freshers as it will be their first time celebrating the Chinese New Year away from home. What better way to celebrate the holiday season than to gather with friends and enjoy a nice dinner with a cup of warm tea, especially in the cold January winter.

To make this Chinese New Year as authentic as possible, a Chinese New Year dinner was held at The Red Chilli Restaurant, famous for serving warm oriental delicacies that rival home-cooked meals. Oh! There were also sweet Chinese mandarins because what is Chinese New Year without the limau mandarin that we all love? To add to the fun, all attendees were eligible to enter the lucky draw, in which six free Gong Cha vouchers were up for grabs Yumz! Peek the pictures below to find out who’s the lucky winners.

Happy Chinese New Year, everyone!

May this new year be filled with prosperous luck, happiness, and health.

From us 2022/23 MSSM Committee.
