As the curtains rose on MNight 2024, the unmistakable aroma of Teh Tarik once again filled the air, heralding the official commencement of this year’s spectacular production. This tradition marked the inaugural gathering of the MNight team, a formidable group comprising over 100 individuals united by their passion for delivering an unforgettable annual show.
Why Teh Tarik? Beyond its delightful taste, Teh Tarik holds a special place in the hearts of Malaysians, serving as a cultural icon that transcends its status as a mere beverage. Its return to the MNight kick-off symbolizes more than just a drink; it embodies the essence of Malaysian hospitality, camaraderie, and the joy found in life’s simple pleasures. Teh Tarik is more than just a drink; it’s a cultural touchstone that invokes memories for every Malaysian. From early morning cups that kickstart the day to late-night Mamak store runs for supper, Teh Tarik is entwined with significant moments in every individual’s life. Naturally, food was served as well! With the help of our favourite Chilli Tales, karipap and kuih-muih were served to fill the bellies of our dedicated members throughout the night.
In conclusion, the event met its objective by breaking the ice between all the members as they prepare for many many practices ahead.
