Sleigh bells ring, are you listening? Laughter filled the air as the members of MSSM gathered on the 10th of December 2023 for the much-anticipated annual Christmas event, titled “Holly Jolly Soiree.” With autumn leaves crunching underfoot, the campus was transformed into a “winter wonderland”, setting the stage for a day filled with festive cheer and merrymaking.
The event began with the heartwarming “Cocoa Connection,” a casual hot chocolate drinking session that warmed both hands and hearts. Participants gathered in groups, sipping on rich, sweet hot chocolate prepared by our very own committee members whilst sharing stories. The aroma of warm chocolate wafted through the air, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance.
One of the highlights of the day was the “GingerCraft” competition, where participants showcased their creativity in crafting gingerbread houses. The air was filled with excitement as the participants decorated their edible masterpieces. From a chocolate fountain to icing-covered rooftops, the gingerbread creations were a feast for the eyes.
Festive tunes played in the background as participants moved from one activity to another while embracing the joyous atmosphere. The spirit of Christmas was alive and well as members donned Santa hats and holiday sweaters, adding a touch of whimsy to the occasion.
Before the end of the event, the much-anticipated moment arrived as we unveiled the winners of our GingerCraft and Best Dressed competitions. Each triumphant winner not only took home the applause of the crowd but also a grand prize.
As the day unfolded, a sense of camaraderie and joy permeated the event. Laughter echoed through the air and the members of MSSM came together in the true spirit of Christmas, creating memories that would linger long after the last jingle bell had faded away.
