Pasar Malam 2024 was an absolute blast! Held on 1st May at Academy 2, the event kicked off at 6:00 pm and wrapped up by 9:00 pm, with vendors and our amazing team setting up shop earlier in the day. The evening buzzed with lively chatter, delicious smells, and a vibrant atmosphere that truly captured the spirit of a traditional night market.
We had a variety of vendors serving up mouth-watering dishes, from classic Malaysian street food to refreshing drinks at the MSSM stall. Special shoutout to Sedap Sokmo for selling out in just 15 minutes—talk about a hot item! While most vendors had a great night, we did have a few hiccups, like Kia Kitchen arriving late and some stalls running out of food quicker than expected. Next time, we’ll encourage vendors to prep for bigger crowds, as everything went fast!
Our volunteers did an incredible job managing the lines, helping with crowd control, and making sure everything ran smoothly. The music kept the vibe lively, and our photographers captured the evening’s best moments, so keep an eye out for those photos!
The night ended on a high note with everyone pitching in for the cleanup—teamwork really does make the dream work. Thanks to everyone who joined us, from our fantastic vendors to the attendees who brought the energy. Already looking forward to making the next one even bigger and better!
