A joyous celebration of Christmas Day was held on the 7th of December 2024, where MSSM’s committee and members came together to enjoy the festivities. A cheerful night during a cold and bleak December truly sparked the spirits of the attendees. This year’s Christmas event titled ‘Frosty Festive’, held at the Student Union, sets the stage for a thrilling night.
The evening began with ‘CocoaMilk Connection’, a heartwarming socializing segment where attendees enjoyed marshmallows, chocolate fondue and hot cocoa which turned out to be the ideal treat for a cold winter night. Laughter echoed throughout the room which became more lively with flowing conversations creating an ideal setting for the upcoming exciting events.
The evening’s main attraction was the ‘GingerCraft’ Challenge! Attendees received various gingerbread pieces along with icing and candies to build the most festive and creative house that could stand structurally. Teams worked to frost and decorate gingerbread creations with Christmas spirit while festive competition sounds filled the room and the sweet smell of gingerbread filled the air. The imaginative displays ranged from small cottages to large gingerbread mansions and received full approval from Santa.
Once the first hour of sweet building finished people moved on to another round of ‘CocoaMilk Connection’ so they could unwind and view the holiday creations. The night reached its end with growing excitement for the Awards Announcements as the best gingerbread house creators received their championship titles and exciting prizes. A photography session concluded the event by recording the beautiful experiences and Christmas enchantment shared between friends.
