On 1st October, MSSM kicked off the new academic year with a bang at Bomb Battle, Berjaya Times Square, for our Pre-Departure 2025 event! Designed as an icebreaker for incoming freshers heading to the University of Manchester, the day was all about fun, teamwork, and building new friendships before flying off to the UK. 🇲🇾✈️🇬🇧
Split into teams, participants raced against the clock to complete thrilling challenges that determined how much time they’d have to defuse the bomb. Tension was high, energy was electric—and although every team managed to save the day, no one escaped the paint cannon finale that made for legendary photos and videos. 🔥💣📸
The excitement didn’t end there. After the battle, everyone gathered for a chill lunch at BananaBros, where freshers got to know each other, meet the MSSM committee, and ask all their burning questions about life in Manchester. 🥪☕
