Lepak Raya 2026 brought the festive spirit of Hari Raya to Manchester as MSSM, MALECS, and MCOT came together once again to organise a joyful celebration for Malaysian students studying away from home. Held on 22 March 2026 at Platt Fields Park, the event welcomed around 180 attendees dressed in colourful traditional attire, creating a lively and heartwarming atmosphere throughout the afternoon.

The event featured a delicious spread of Malaysian food, including lemang with chicken rendang and nasi kenduri ayam masak merah, alongside refreshing drinks such as teh tarik and green tea. Guests enjoyed sharing meals together while taking part in fun activities such as open karaoke Raya, batik painting, ketupat weaving, and traditional games. Cultural performances and the lively “kampung area” also helped recreate the warm and familiar feeling of celebrating Raya back in Malaysia.

As the sun shone over Platt Fields Park, the event was filled with laughter, music, and meaningful moments between friends. More than just a celebration, Lepak Raya 2026 reminded everyone of the importance of community, culture, and togetherness during the festive season. 🌙✨🕌
